This June, two design galleries with very different roots are opening a dialogue that will run through the height of summer and into the first weeks of autumn. SOLEILLE, the Ibiza based platform devoted to art, architecture, and design, and ST VINCENTS, the Antwerp gallery known for its rigorous approach to contemporary and collectible design, have joined forces on DUET, a four month programme unfolding across the island from 21 June to 5 October 2026.
The project reads like an extended exchange. Rather than settling on a single fixed presentation, DUET is built to shift and evolve, with works introduced, rotated, and reconsidered in response to the space as the season progresses. Openings, conversations, and installations will punctuate the months ahead, and an events calendar is expected in the coming weeks.
SOLEILLE approaches art, architecture, and design as a single continuous field rather than separate disciplines. Founded by Gabriela Puig Soleille, the gallery takes a long view of Ibiza, treating the island as a genuine site of cultural production rather than a backdrop for a fleeting summer season. Its programme of exhibitions, residencies, and invited collaborations places international practices in conversation with the island’s own context.
For ST VINCENTS, founded in Antwerp in 2016 by Henri Delbarre and Geraldine Jackman and based in a restored eighteenth century printing house, DUET represents something new: the gallery’s first sustained presence beyond its home city. The programme will introduce Ibiza audiences to work by Brian Thoreen, Nick Valentijn, Luna Paiva, EWE Studio, Kimy Gringoire, Studio HAOS, Emily Thurman, and others, with new pieces and configurations arriving throughout the season.
Together, the two galleries describe DUET as a way of testing what happens when parallel curatorial positions meet under one seasonal roof, built on proximity and exchange between practices, materials, and places rather than a single curatorial statement.
The full roster brought together for DUET includes Anne Büscher, Madeline Coven, EWE Studio, Kimy Gringoire, Luna Paiva, Studio HAOS, Brian Thoreen, Emily Thurman, and Nick Valentijn, with works from the ST VINCENTS programme forming the core of the presentation, set alongside a complementary selection curated by SOLEILLE.
Talks and conversations are also planned throughout the run, with Luna Paiva, Kimy Gringoire, Kym Ellery, and Lionel Jadot confirmed among the participants. Exact dates will follow.
