A new homegrown interiors concept brings emotional storytelling to the heart of Umm Suqeim.

There’s a quiet revolution happening in Dubai’s design landscape — one that celebrates emotion as much as aesthetics. Enter Modora Home, the UAE’s newest destination for contemporary interiors, where craftsmanship and calm coexist, and where every piece tells a story of Inspired Living.

Nestled in Umm Suqeim, the brand’s newly opened, two-floor showroom feels less like a store and more like a retreat — a thoughtfully composed space flooded with natural light and layered with tactile beauty. Neutral tones, soft textures, and sculptural forms invite visitors to slow down and reconnect with their surroundings. This is luxury redefined: understated, warm, and deeply personal.

A Design Language Rooted in Emotion

At its core, Modora Home is an exploration of how design can move us. Each collection — spanning bedrooms, dining rooms, living spaces, and accessories such as rugs and glassware — is curated to harmonize form and feeling. The pieces are not just functional; they are designed to resonate.

“Modora Home introduces a fresh perspective to the region’s interiors scene — one that speaks directly to how people want to live today,” says Rob Canning, Vice President of GMG’s Home Division. “It’s about creating spaces that reflect who we are, not just how we live.”

That philosophy is evident in every curve and texture: minimalist silhouettes softened by natural materials, a palette that evokes serenity, and the quiet assurance of craftsmanship that endures.

A Home for Creators and Collectors

More than a retail destination, Modora Home doubles as a creative hub. A dedicated materials library and private consultation rooms allow homeowners and designers to craft bespoke projects, supported by an in-house team of experts. Customers are encouraged to bring their own designers, fostering collaboration and community in the process.

Downstairs, an in-store Mokha 1450 café adds another layer to the experience — a place to linger over coffee, discuss ideas, or simply observe the choreography of design in motion. It’s a concept that blends lifestyle with creativity, turning the showroom into a social space for inspiration and exchange.

The Art of Inspired Living

Every Modora Home piece carries a narrative — of balance, texture, and modern artistry. The brand’s hotel-style service model brings customization to the forefront: clients can choose from a curated range of materials, from fine marbles to textured woods and luxurious fabrics, tailoring each design to their individual taste.

To mark its debut, the brand hosted an invite-only launch event on October 30, 2025, transforming its showroom into a journey through emotion. Guests explored immersive zones themed around Calm, Energy, Wellness, and Boldness — four states that define the Modora Home experience.

Behind the concept stands GMG, a company with a growing home portfolio that already includes the outdoor brand Suncoast. With Modora Home, GMG expands its vision indoors — translating the ease of outdoor living into timeless, curated interiors that feel both global and distinctly local.

A New Chapter for Dubai Interiors

In a city known for its fast pace and architectural spectacle, Modora Home offers something more intimate: a call to slow down and live beautifully. It’s a place where design becomes dialogue, where materials evoke memory, and where homes are built not just to impress, but to feel right.

Modora Home is now open to the public in Umm Suqeim, next to 700 Padel & Fitness.
