In the heart of Nice, just steps from the sea along Avenue Victor Hugo, a radiant new address has emerged: Le Soleia, a four-star hotel by Inwood Hotels imagined by designer Oscar Lucien Ono and his studio, Maison Numéro 20.

More than a destination, Le Soleia is a sun-drenched reverie — a place where Mediterranean light, classical artistry, and Southern charm converge in harmony.

Bathed in warm ochres, pastels, and sun-faded greens, the interiors reflect the palette of the Niçois coastline. Textures echo the Riviera’s heritage: wave-like headboards, sculptural amphorae by Thibault Perrigne, and frescoes by Raphael Schmitt evoke both antiquity and modern ease.

From terrazzo floors to wicker accents, each detail is a tribute to craft, light, and nature. At the heart of the hotel is a celestial ceiling fresco — a sculptural composition in painted wood, floating like a breeze overhead.

It sets the tone for a poetic journey through space and sensation, where every corridor glows with Southern warmth.Le Soleia’s 46 rooms and suites — many with private terraces — embrace guests in natural materials and coastal hues, blending blond wood, sea greens, and terracotta. The restaurant, shaded by palms and glass partitions, unfolds like an indoor garden suspended between sea and sky.

Inspired by the Villa Kérylos and the Mediterranean’s artistic legacy, Oscar Lucien Ono reinterprets the codes of French chic with a soft, liberated touch.
As he explains: “I design places that tell stories — where beauty, memory, and light are inseparable.”With Le Soleia, the story is one of joy, slowness, and sunshine — a new Riviera icon for a new generation of travellers.
