What happens when a couture house known for sculpting elegance joins forces with a storied Italian shipyard? You get the 42 EXUMA — a 42-meter yacht that rewrites the rules of seafaring luxury.

Unveiled in Viareggio on July 10, the project marks the first yacht collaboration between ELIE SAAB and MAIORA, a Next Yacht Group brand. It’s a bold crossover: fashion meets engineering, heritage meets innovation. With exteriors by renowned yacht architect Giorgio Maria Cassetta and interiors by ELIE SAAB under the creative direction of Carlo Colombo, the 42 EXUMA feels less like a boat and more like a floating sanctuary.

Think panoramic views, sculptural volumes, and interiors dressed in Mystic Ocean marble, bronzed mirrors, and teak wood ceilings — all crafted in Italy. Guest suites, usually tucked below, have been elevated to the main deck for sunlight and sea views. The upper deck becomes a fully open, glass-wrapped lounge — a manifesto of fluidity and experiential design.

More than a luxury object, this yacht is a paradigm shift. “We chose to break with convention and restore centrality to experience,” says Sebastiano Fanizza, CEO of Next Yacht Group.

Elie Saab Jr. adds: “It’s a bold expression of our vision — immersive, elegant, precise.”
Spanning four decks, with a beam of 8.9 meters and a top speed of 30 knots, the 42 EXUMA is as much about performance as poetry. The first unit is already sold, with delivery set for Summer 2027.
A new chapter begins — and it’s written in marble, speed, and the unmistakable signature of style.
