In Dubai’s ever-evolving design landscape, a new chapter is unfolding. Later this year, Kettal — the Spanish brand with roots deep in the Mediterranean — will open its first Middle East monobrand showroom  in Dubai For over half a century, Kettal has turned terraces, courtyards, and rooftops into living spaces, pairing refined craftsmanship with a modular approach that adapts as easily as the day turns to night.

Brought to the region by Vivium, the Dubai-based single-family office founded by Elie Khouri, Kettal’s arrival feels perfectly timed. Across the Gulf, the concept of outdoor living is undergoing a renaissance. Post-pandemic, rooftops have become places for morning rituals, shaded courtyards double as serene offices, and expansive terraces host everything from yoga sessions to starlit dinners.

“People are redefining how they inhabit outdoor spaces,” reflects Lara Khalife, Kettal’s Brand Director. “The beauty of Kettal lies in its flexibility. A single collection can shift from an intimate family nook to a setting for entertaining, all without losing its identity.”

While outdoor living remains central to Kettal’s identity, its portfolio also encompasses the workplace – with modular architecture, acoustic pods, and ergonomic furnishings that respond to today’s evolving professional environments. Alongside this, Kettal offers indoor furniture, ambient lighting, and a curated range of accents – all rooted in the same commitment to thoughtful design and material innovation.

The upcoming Dubai showroom will be more than a display. Designed as a living environment, it will invite visitors to step into Kettal’s world — curated outdoor “rooms” evolving from sunrise to dusk, a materials library to explore sustainable innovations, and spaces for designers to collaborate on bespoke projects. From recycled ocean-plastic fabrics to responsibly sourced teak, every detail speaks to a future where luxury and sustainability live side by side.

For Vivium, partnering with Kettal is about more than bringing another name to the region. It’s about shaping experiences that last — spaces that mirror the Gulf’s architectural boldness while honoring the timeless appeal of Mediterranean living.
