At Hermès, the home is more than just a living space. It’s a philosophy — a way of inhabiting the world through silence, beauty, durability, and emotion. In the universe of Maison Hermès, every object becomes a daily companion, designed to last, to resonate, and to exist fully in the present moment. While visiting Dubai, Anne-Sarah Panhard, Managing Director of Maison Hermès, shared a vision that is both thoughtful and poetic. In this singular universe, creation is woven between heritage and constant renewal.

“Maison Hermès is not a homeware line. it’s a philosophy of living, where every object tells a story through its material, function, and silence.” At Hermès, objects are made to be felt. They don’t just decorate a space—they inhabit it, responding to touch, gesture, and time. From bronze to silk, every material is carefully chosen and brought to life through remarkable craft.
“What interests us is what the object becomes in the home: how it lives, how it transforms a moment, how it touches.” From the supple grain of a leather case to the curved silhouette of hand-blown glass, each creation carries more than design—it holds presence: something essential, purposeful, and quietly stirring.

Hermès doesn’t rely on spectacle to innovate. Its boldness is quiet. Its evolution, finely attuned. Innovation begins in the hands—born from the dialogue between heritage and new ways of living. “At Hermès, innovation is a continuous process of adaptation. It is always grounded in material, gesture, and excellence.” The Tressage Équestre collection, launched in 2023, is a testament to this. Inspired by the braiding of equestrian reins, the collection showcases artisanal mastery through more than 30 shades that create a delicate interplay of light and shadow on porcelain.

Hermès continues to unfold new stories. In January 2025, the Maison introduced Hermès En Contrepoint—a porcelain collection that navigates the delicate tension between structured rhythm and organic fluidity. A joyful, intuitive counterpoint.

At Hermès, sustainability is not a trend. It’s structural, cultural, and rooted in history. It lives in the integrity of materials, the loyalty to artisans, and the quiet ambition to craft objects that outlast time. “We were practicing sustainability long before it became a buzzword. For us, it’s a way of working, a deep respect for makers and users alike.” Today, this philosophy translates into concrete, thoughtful choices: ethical sourcing, full traceability, and thoughtful alignment with global standards.
The art of the table is at the heart of the Maison Hermès universe. Each collection reflects a way of life—elegant, intimate, free, and effortlessly adaptable.“The goal isn’t just to create beautiful plates. It’s to invite a different way of living. The table becomes a space for conversation, care, and shared cadence.”

For the 2025 Salone del Mobile, Hermès returns to La Pelota with an immersive scenography conceived by Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry. This year, the focus turns to a simple, essential question: “What gives an object its meaning?” Housed in floating, near-immaterial structures, the objects remain elusive. It’s the light they emit—the soft halos on the ground—that speak first, like a vibration in color, like presence before form. “This installation speaks to pure emotion. We search for the object, sensing it first through what it emits, even before we see it. It’s a return to essence: the object as it moves us.”
“This year, light comes before the object. Light precedes form. Emotion comes before the object itself. What we sense first is the emotion it releases—long before we grasp what the object truly is.”
At Maison Hermès, each object begins in silence—with an idea, a gesture, a craft. It doesn’t follow the moment. It walks its own way. Perhaps that is true luxury: not what dazzles, but what endures. A companion—quiet, luminous, and real.
