Q. Finding the perfect home is both an emotional and intuitive journey. What drew you to this house? Was it the architecture, the energy, or the possibility of shaping it to reflect your way of living?
A. I felt an immediate connection—as if something in me knew this was where I was meant to be. What struck me most was the energy and the lush garden. I envisioned how I could shape it into a space that reflected me—somewhere to feel free, inspired, and grounded. This house and the renovation became my breath of fresh air, my anchor. On an emotional level, I owe a lot to this home—it helped carry and, in many ways, heal me.

Q. You worked with an interior designer to bring your vision to life. How did you choose them, and how did they help shape the space?
A. I worked with my friend Laetitia @thelivein__, who has renovated many homes in Dubai and Switzerland. I trusted her completely. Without her, this house would never have come to life. She understood my vision, advised me, and helped me find that balance between minimalism, warmth, and functionality.

Q. You’ve said: “Designing a home that reflects inner peace and clarity.” How did you translate this into your space? What materials, colours, or layouts created this feeling?
A. I focused on soft tones, natural materials, and a fluid layout to avoid clutter. I chose a black-and-white base and added green to echo the garden. Every object has meaning—nothing is placed randomly—which creates a conscious harmony.

Q. Your home feels intentional and connected to well-being. How did you simplify and curate the space to nurture both body and mind?
A. The idea was to eliminate anything unnecessary and keep only what brings me joy. I wanted each room to invite calm and inspiration. My approach was intuitive—I’d ask: Does this colour, object, or layout make me feel good? If not, I let it go.

Q. A home shapes our mindset. What rituals or practices does your space support that help you reset and realign?
A. Each room has its own energy. My kitchen and office are where I feel most at peace. I love opening the window and listening to the birds—a simple ritual that soothes and recentres me.
Q. What brands or stores do you love shopping at in Dubai for home decor and design?
A. I love discovering places that value natural materials and craftsmanship. Many pieces were custom-made by @Homefigures and local artisans. I also enjoy collecting objects and textiles from markets and travels. For accessories, I love The Bowery Company and recently discovered Jerra, a Dubai brand specializing in antique pots. For design accessories, I love exploring The Bowery Company, which offers a beautifully curated selection of contemporary pieces. I also recently discovered Jerra, a new homegrown Dubai brand specializing in antique pots—perfect for adding character and history to a space.

Q. Tell us about your crystal collection and how it influences your home’s energy.
A. Crystals are part of my daily life—not just for their beauty, but for their energy. I place them in rooms based on their vibrations: amethyst in the bedroom, citrine in the workspace, and rose quartz in shared areas. They add both aesthetic and symbolic depth, reminding me to stay grounded and intentional.
Q. How has this home transformed your inner world? Do you feel a home should make you feel safe?
A. This home reflects my personal evolution. It’s helped me slow down, reconnect, and understand how space affects our state of mind. For me, a home should be a sanctuary, a place where you can fully be yourself, free from external pressure. Safety comes from both the design and the energy you create. A home should evolve with you and offer peace.

Q. If your home were a soundtrack, what would it play?
A. A blend of soft, enveloping music with touches of nostalgia. Nature sounds during the day, and sometimes old soul or jazz drifting through the air—adding rhythm to everyday life.
